Dear breakfast! I stayed in the hotel with my son (4 years), for breakfast I gave daily about 40 €.

Close to the center, 7 minutes on foot. Quiet.
The pillow's too soft. There was no kettle in the room, I had to ask separately.

Loved the wellness area, very calming vibe. The Rituals soap in our room was a great touch. The park next door is perfect for a nice stroll. Plus, parking was super convenient!

Good food for all meals. Airy and tastefully decorated room with an incredible view over park from the window. Central location in the city centre, enjoyable breakfast. Also - really close to parks, tourist area, and a nearby coffee shop.

Ambience and services are very good! I like SPA as well but steamer was not working
I have not seen too much people staying there in the evening and had an impression that I'm the only person having dinner at hotel restaurant!

The hotel rooms were very well appointed with excellent beds/ pillows and decor. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definately consider Melia for our frequent city trips. The staff were also all very very helpful. Highly recommended

The staff were just lovely! We got a cozy room right away and they even helped me retrieve my forgotten item post-check-out. The wellness area was a good cherry on top!
But honestly, the pillows could double as bricks. I had to fluff them like it was a workout-who knew vacation meant gym time?

Location is great - you cross beautiful park and in 5-10 mnts you are either in the shopping area (if you go left in the park) or old town if you go a bit right (old town with bars and promenade along the Rein river - nice to walk and lots to watch). Hotel is new, nice design - modern, functual, though may seem too simple or not cosy to some people. Clean, pleasant spa area.
Internet is 15 euro for 24hrs or 5 euro for 2 hrs which seems a lot - especially for people who got used to free wi fi connection. Well it turns out free wi-fi is NOT common in Dusseldorf at all. From pictures on this site hotel may look nearly a 5-star hotel - well, it is strong 4-star - choice of staff in the bathroom is limited to all-over-body shampoo and a soap.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Melia. The room was lovely and the shower/bathroom was a good size with nice products. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in any hotel, plenty of choice. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night during our stay and really enjoyed it. During our stay, our Eurovision representatives from Ireland - Jedward - arrived at the hotel for their stay and we got a photo with them. We wish them all the best this week! We would definitely recommend this hotel.

very nice good price/quality ratio, but extra services (room service, breakfast, parking) were very expensive. The shower splattered all over the bathroom, so the floor was continually wet, poorly designed. Towels were small and very thin.

The hotel was very clean and efficient, the rooms were generous and very comfortable. The hotel was positioned opposite a large park with the river /old town/new town all within walking distance. The breakfast at the hotel was by far one of the best both in quality and choice that I have had any where in the world
There was a 20 euro a night for car parking and Wi-Fi was bought on a daily basis of 15 euros both of which I thought was expensive
